Slider Station - Kuwait - Across from Seef Palace on The Gulf Road is a happening burger joint, Slider Station.

Hip and trendy, with dance music filling the air, the Slider Station is a welcome addition to Kuwait's never ending list of restaurants. With its Sushi style conveyor belt circling the bar, Slider Station specializes in mini, two-bite (ok, it takes more than two bites, but it sure rolls off the tongue easier than four or five bites) gourmet burgers.

The concept is because they are small; you can order a variety so you can experience the wide range of styles and tastes. Thai Beef, Mozzarella Chicken, Peking Duck and Hamour, plus a great selection of traditional gourmet burgers round out the burger selections. Their menu does not stop there though, a wide selection of other "Western" dishes are available.

Service was on target for a small, trendy place like this. That was, until a waitress scolded us from across the room, for putting our plates on the track to be sent back to the kitchen. Imagine how the plates can pile up when, after only a couple bites of the burger you are done with the plate. They were filling our cramped bar space and with no one coming to clear them, we popped them back on the track. Even after she scolded us, no one bothered to clear our dishes as were done with them.

Over all it was a good experience. Great burgers, great atmosphere and French fries that matched the mediocre service.

Is the Slider Station a place I would visit again? Yes, solely for their delicious burgers, not to experience the service, or should I say, lack of service again.
